Remote patient monitoring promises to transform care: patients monitored continuously at home, clinicians alerted to critical changes before they become emergencies, hospital resources freed for acute cases. But adoption has been slow. Data security and GDPR compliance are unresolved. Hospital information system integration is complex. Vendor lock-in on sensors creates unsustainable costs. RPM - telemonitoring platform with trust-grade security and full hospital integration
E-Group built the Remote Patient Monitoring platform as part of its Digital Trust product family, applying the same identity and security infrastructure used in KAÜ and the national banking stack to the healthcare monitoring challenge. The platform provides near real-time sensor data transmission to a central database, with redundant hardware for high availability. Patient identity is verified via e-ID reading, biometric verification, and face recognition - the same components used in government and banking applications. HL7 integration connects sensor data to hospital information systems, with outpatient findings placed in patient records at the treating physician's discretion. Multi-manufacturer sensor support eliminates single-vendor pricing dependency. Automated dashboards are organised by disease, therapy, and patient group with configurable critical-value alerts. Full GDPR compliance with transparent consent management governs all data flows.
