Technology should answer to people, not the other way around.
You don't own what's yours. They do. Sovereignty puts it back in your hands.
Your identity. Your data. Your AI.
E-Group builds sovereign digital infrastructure that keeps control where it belongs: with you.

If this is your problem, you are in the right place
Five people, five problems.
One of them is yours.
-
CIO / CTO
"Commit to this stack and I am betting my career on not being locked into another decade of dependency I cannot get out of."
-
CFO / Finance
"I need the five-year cost, the cost to exit, & what the balance sheet does when the contract changes."
-
Public Sector
"Put citizens' data or the national grid on infrastructure owned outside this jurisdiction, & the basic part of my job is already failing."
-
Innovation Executive
"Everyone is selling AI. I cannot tell which of these is real research & which is consulting in a new suit."
-
Consulting Partner
"My clients are asking me for a sovereign answer, & I do not have a credible European one to bring them."
The diagnosis & the answer
They build
The Default.
Addiction Infrastructure.
This is not analogy. It is diagnosis.
We build
The Cure.
Sovereign Infrastructure.
Not another product. Architecture you own.
Better in every way that matters
The sovereign alternative isn't a concession, it's an upgrade.
Sovereignty is often framed as a trade-off where you lose performance to gain ownership. We firmly disagree. The sovereign choice offers the same performance, the same capability, combined with actual ownership. The result? Full control.
| Criterion | The hyperscaler default | The sovereign solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cost structure | Per-token, per-API-call. Repriced unilaterally. Margin compounds against you as you scale. | Linear pricing on compute you own. The more you use, the more cost-effective per unit. |
| Data residency | Wherever they choose, subject to whichever jurisdiction owns them. | Wherever you choose, subject to the laws of your jurisdiction. |
| Lock-in | Proprietary APIs & formats. Leaving costs more than entering. | Open standards. Portable formats. Designed so you can leave on the day you choose. |
| Jurisdictional risk | US CLOUD Act exposure. EU AI Act compliance retrofitted. | EU sovereignty built in from the foundation, not bolted on after the fact. |
| Continuity | Service can be terminated, throttled, restricted. Has been, for sovereign customers. | The infrastructure is yours. Service continues regardless of who is in the room. |
The path
Every institution adopting AI is already on one of these paths.
Only one leads to actual control.
The default path · How you lose control
Dependency was the risk all along.
-
01
Explore
Teams adopt the tools to move faster.
-
02
Integrate
The tools move to the cloud. Dependence begins.
-
03
Scale
Data gravity sets in. Architecture is outsourced.
-
04
Realise the risk
Compliance gaps, lock-in, & residency questions surface.
-
05
Lose control
Leaving costs more than staying. Bargaining power is gone.
-
06
Pay the price
Higher cost, slower change, exposure you did not choose.
The sovereign path · How you keep it
Control today. Advantage tomorrow.
-
01
Align
Define the strategy & the sovereignty requirements first.
-
02
Design
A hybrid, compliant architecture built to your constraints.
-
03
Build
Deploy a governed platform on your data, in your environment.
-
04
Scale
Grow without losing governance, observability or control.
-
05
Collaborate
Connect to European & global ecosystems on your terms.
-
06
Own your future
Keep strategic control. Compound the advantage.
European leadership
E-Group doesn't just take part in Europe's sovereign infrastructure programmes,
it helps shape their direction.

Co-leadAI workstream
IPCEI-CIS
IPCEI-CIS is the European Commission's flagship programme to build a sovereign, EU-controlled cloud and AI infrastructure — Europe's answer to its dependence on non-European hyperscalers. Backed by seven member states, nineteen enterprises and €3.5 billion, it sets the technical foundation the continent will run on for the next decade. E-Group co-leads the workstream responsible for its AI capabilities — helping decide how sovereign AI is built into the platform from the ground up — and holds a seat on the programme's Industrial Steering Board, the body that sets its strategic direction.
-
Nominated direct partner
IPCEI AI
IPCEI-AI is Europe's emerging flagship programme for industrial AI — the next step after cloud infrastructure, aimed at building the continent's own sovereign AI capability rather than renting it from abroad. The programme is still taking shape, and E-Group is already at the table: nominated by a member state as a direct partner candidate, and backed by memoranda of understanding with 27 leading European companies around its AI technology.

Antal KuthyFounder & CEO
The thinker behind it
E-Group’s founder and CEO is a sought-after international keynote speaker and thought leader on artificial intelligence and its ethical implications — including who owns it, whose values it serves, and how it remains accountable to people. In 2026, he co-chaired a roundtable on digital goods for humanity at the Vatican-convened Global Assembly of Nobel Laureates on AI. The values Antal stands for are reflected in E-Group’s project vision and technology roadmap.
What we have built

We offer the same capabilities as you have now, just better. With E-Group the sovereign difference means that you own what's yours, you're always in control so you can walk away fully intact whenever you want. You run it, in your environment, under your jurisdiction, on your terms.

The default has been the default because no one organised the alternative. We are organising it. There are five ways to participate: as a buyer, a builder, a partner, a channel partner, or an endorser. You can start by reading the papers or attending a convening, & commit when you are ready.
