Artificial Intelligence Technology for the Preservation of Critical Space Infrastructures and the Prediction of Maintenance Needs
E-Group and the ESA (European Space Agency) have signed a development agreement aimed at technological excellence in artificial intelligence (AI), which is also supported by Thales Alenia Space, a multinational global space industry company. This company provides specialized knowledge and access for the E‑Group ‑ ESA project in the field of critical space infrastructures. The project is set to launch in Q4, 2024.
This two-year project represents the first critically important technological development step in a long-term collaboration. It will enable E‑Group to enter this specialized, high-potential space technology sector, particularly in the area of space-specific artificial intelligence technology, which is considered a pioneering field even within the space industry.
For E-Group, this project further expands the possibilities for establishing global space industry projects. Thanks to the collaboration between ESA and Thales Alenia Space, E‑Group has the opportunity to secure a critical position in one of the most promising segments of the space technology industry. The framework essential for the project’s inception was provided by the fact that, as a member of ESA, the Hungarian government, like other member countries, participates in enhancing ESA’s competitiveness based on mutual benefits.
As a result of this collaboration, the Hungarian high-tech space technology segment will strengthen and develop in this promising field with vast potential.
We would like to thank all our partners for the opportunity, and we will meet the highest standards of excellence required by these collaborations.
